The 1849-C Liberty Head quarter eagle is one
of the rarest Charlotte quarter eagles in all grades. It has a mintage of only 10,220 coins. High grade specimens of this issue are almost never seen, most examples known are either Extremely Fine or About Uncirculated condition.
